DESCRIPTION:
A clear cut-crystal ink well with a hallmarked sterling silver hinged cover and
collar, machine-turned decoration and circular cartouche engraved with a
MT monogram, made by Birmingham silversmith William Henry Sparrow.
MARKS:
W.H.S maker's mark, Anchor, Lion Passant and date letter c for 1902-1903.
CONDITION:
With a few small chips, some tarnishing and loose hinge (see close-up images).
DIMENSIONS:
Approximately 6cm base diameter X 5.3cm height.
