ANTIQUE FRENCH MADE STERLING CLARINET
Manufactured in France for Henri Selmer and Co. London
In original case
Clarinet was made in France for Henri Selmer and Co. in London, England. They were the largest importers of musical instruments in England during the 1930's and 1940's.
This clarinet is also estimated to be from the early 1930's.
It comes in the original case with accessories as pictured. There seems to be no reeds included.
Cosmetic condition is pretty good for its age, with some loss of the plating towards the front.
We have not cleaned it at all, so expect it to be quite dusty and dirty.
All the buttons and levers seem to be working, nothing is seized up or broken as far as we can determine.
Keep in mind that we have not tested it and it would probable need a major service for it to be playable again.
The case is intact, but quite dusty and dirty inside and it has some scuffs on the outside. It has no key.
Please view the images to make your own judgement regarding detailed condition.
