Antique French Silver Cake Server 

This lovely, great quality, silver handled cake server from the late 1800's, early1900's is in super condition and in my opinion is an early French piece. It has a lovely, chased silver handle with a large gilt or brass lifter, which is beautifully engraved on the one side. The handle has a small, hard to read silver hallmark, but has been tested and confirmed silver by my jeweller. It measures 27cm in length, with the lifter itself measuring 12,5cm x 7,5cm, and it weighs 85,5g.
