Antique German Musical Beer Stein Mug 

This wonderful, large, musical, German, lidded stein mug is beautifully decorated in numerous colours and features a couple dancing in traditional dress, with the man holding a stein mug in one hand and a guitar in the other. It has a lovely shape with a hinged decorated lid and an art nouveau style decoration in relief around the base. It is also fitted, in the base, with a wind-up musical box that works well and plays a lovely tune when picked up. Other than a small pewter thumb piece missing near the lid it's in great condition and comes with its original wind-up key. It stands 23cm high with a base diameter of 12cm and weighs 1155g.
