Antique Gold-Plated Pinchbeck Brooch

This antique Pinchbeck brooch is partially gold-plated, including a decorative wreath set with garnet-coloured paste 'gemstones' on the front. There is a leaf, and a grey synthetic pearl decoration contained within the wreath. Two small, clear paste 'gemstones' are set on two sides of the pearl. The brooch has violet transparent cover set into the back, to allow for a picture or hair to be stored. The brooch is unmarked.
