The "Original Perfection" bed and douche pan is a vintage medical utensil produced between 1900 and 1930 by Grimwades Ltd., an earthenware manufacturer based in Stoke-on-Trent, England.

Product Overview

Manufacturer: Grimwades Ltd. (also known for Royal Winton pottery).

Design Purpose: Originally designed as a hygienic, comfortable toilet utensil for patients confined to bed. It was marketed as "The Most Comfortable and Sanitary Bed-Pan in the World".

Material: Constructed from high-quality white glazed ceramic or earthenware.
