Antique Hand-Carved 'Bone' Lidded Box 

This lovely, very early, circular 'bone' box and cover has been intricately hand-carved with elephants under a canopy of trees around the sides, and would make an ideal trinket or ring box on a dressing table. The box has a natural grain though it similar to 'ivory', and is in excellent condition with a snug fitting lid. It sands 43mm high with a base diameter of 68mm, a top diameter of 55mm and weighs 72,4g.
