THIS WAS SOLD TO ME AS AN 18thC JAPANESE SALT GLAZE BOWL, I HAVE NO IDEA IF IT IS ACTUALLY THAT OLD.???....SO I AM CALLING IT ANTIQUE WHICH IS QUITE PROBABLE, IT IS PORCELAIN AND HAS BEEN HAND THROWN VERY FINELY THEN SALT GLAZED, THERE IS THE SMALLEST NIBBLE TO THE RIM OF THE LID AND HAS A FINE HAIRLINE CRACK WHICH GOES THROUGH TO THE FRONT, THERE IS FINE ALL OVER CRAZING TO THE GLAZE..... APPROX 1cm LONG, THE DIA IS 7cm, AND IS 5cm HIGH.
