MR.MOTYER EMERGRATED TO EAST LONDON, SOUTH AFRICA FROM LIVERPOOL AND STARTED A MINERAL WATER FACTORY WITH A FRIEND MR.CLEMENTS. THE FIRST WATER WAS BOTTLED IN THE EARLY 1800s AT THE VAN RIEBEEK PLANT IN CAPE TOWN, IT CAME FROM THE ALBCON SPRINGS WICH IS THE STRONGEST FLOWING OF THE SPRINGS AT THE BASE OF TABLE MOUNTAIN. THE WATER WAS BOTTLED AND SOLD FROM JOHN FORBES CHEMIST EAST LONDON. THIS BOTTLE IS IN GREAT CONDITION OTHER THAN DAMAGE TO THE CORK. OVERALL HEIGHT 31cm, BOTTOM DIA 9.5cm.
