Antique Kienzle Mantle Clock
Up for grabs my Antique Kienzle Mantle Clock
Clock has not been wound in a while, did so now and it works and chimes
Very pretty little clock with very little obvious damage to the casing
but could do with a clean. Its a "bit" dusty.
Rattan and wood inlay in the front in very good condition.
The wood inlay in the front is really spectacular. My photographic skills does not do it justice.
The dial show a lot of rubbing and the Clock only works when slanted at a bit on an angle
so selling as:
NOT WORKING
Clock comes with a (very rusted) winding key (not Original)
Please have a look at the pictures and ask questions, I try to describe it as I see it
The Pendulum shows signs of a previous repair
Courier should be no more than R125-00 or Pick-Up in either
Middelburg Mpumalanga or Groblersdal Limpopo preferred
I DO NOT DEAL WITH THE SOUTH AFRICAN POST OFFICE
Happy Bidding
From a fellow BOB'er
I used to own this clock for a while. It was bought by my grandfather's brother. While on tour of European tour (late 1930s). He lived in Cape Town, Riversdale and eventually PE, where he passed on in 1991. It then went to his niece in Joburg who was doing missionary work in Hillbrow. When she was placed in a retirement centre it came to my father and stood next to the tv in out tv lounge for about ten years. It eventually ended up being given to me and I left it placed in my cupboard until I had it auctioned locally at an antique auction.
