Antique L.M.Ericsson Magneto Skeleton Telephone Eiffel Tower c.1895.

This phone was made in Sweden starting in 1892 by the L.M. Ericsson Company and weighs 4.6 kg's . The later models had a dial affixed to the front of the phone, after the time when one could dial out without an operator, but this one, was one of the earlier models, and the separate dial was added on at a later date by the owner. It is in good condition, with all of the working parts of the magnetos and bells intact. This one is all solid brass on the magnetos and bells, as well as the winding wheel which works, and the cradle which holds the handle with the speaker and ear piece, There appears to be some repaired damage on the handset hence the reduced starting price. The phone is in an uncleaned or polished condition as most collectors do not like Antique items to be cleaned.
