Wow, this magnificent clock is near perfect! It runs nicely and keeps time, and chimes once on the half hour and the hours on the hour. It is a manual wind clock and comes with it's winding key. The front window with beveled glass opens and closes perfectly. The only imperfection I notice is that a tiniest piece of wood has splintered off the top area (see last photo below), not glaringly noticeable but mentioned for accuracy sake - apply some dark polish here to disguise it perfectly. The tin face also with some minor age-related tarnishing spots, in keeping with it's age. The clock is made in Germany and the backing plate of the chiming mechanism is marked "Orgel-Gong Drum" or something similar. The clock stands 78cm tall (!), 31.5cm wide and 16cm from front to back.

The clock is working perfectly, the mechanism is very delicate and may need resetting after being in transit. Collection of the Clock is Free and Strongly Preferred. Due to the fragile nature of the clock, shipping and extensive packaging will be R135.
