This compass has no inscriptions but certainly resembles the F. Barker & Sons Officers WW2 Pocket Compass. An identical one with no inscriptions sold at Harrington Antiques. There are small dents on either side of the metal casing. The compass is not accurate but there is a small piece of paper floating around on the face of the dial. I think this might be the reason the compass is inaccurate. This little piece of what looks like paper moved from the 1st-3rd photo on on S/E then moved to W on the fourth photo and  lastly under S/W. The ring for the chain is missing.
