Stunning oil painting signed PH Wouvermans depicting a typical medieval scene and marked on the verso as part of the general Boulanger collection, from our research we have been able to ascertain that General Boulanger was a french General in the mid to late 1800s who collected fine works of art, this lot was purchased alongside an original John Emms believed to be from the same collection. The painting measures 75 by 63 cm and is in excellent condition given its age please note some damage to frame other wise a spectacular investment piece
