ANTIQUE OPTIMUS BRASS PARAFFIN BLOW TORCH

Made in Stockholm, Sweden

This Optimus blowtorch originates from Sweden and is the Nobel model, RD 69719.

It is in a good condition with a few slight dings in the brass for character. It appears to be all original and complete apart from the soldering attachment.

All moving parts move freely and all it might need to work properly is a service and a seal or two.

This could be an easy restoration, only needing a good polish and some paint on the steel parts, or simply display as is!

Interesting is the three languages used describing that only paraffin should be used, English, French and Russian. It gives us an idea of which markets these torches were intended for.

The torch has a total height of 22cm and a tank diameter of 9cm.
