Antique porcelain figurine (candle snuffer?), estimated 1820-1840 era -  Ref.#OR/1

I have absolutely no idea as to the true age of this figure. I am estimating her age to be around the 1820 - 1840 period. Early figures were made by many different potters and factories and rarely signed. They were made from a simple process of pressing thin sheets of clay into a two-piece mold and allowing them to dry.  Once dry, they were joined by a further thin layer of clay.  Consequently, like the figure above, these seams can be seen down the sides and inside the figure. The base has been left open and you can see the marks left from pressing the clay into the mold. Later figurines - from around the 1860's were usually made from a liquid 'slip' in a single mold which eliminated the seam and produced smooth finish, both on the exterior and the interior.
The figurine has a hand painted face, hair, legs and arms as an overglaze with some spots of gilding on the dress.   Overglazing was done where the colours would not stand up to the heat needed initially when applying the white underglaze. Some of the gilding has been lost, again indicates an early age. I do not believe it is a Staffordshire  figurine based on the fact that the style and colours appears to be totally wrong.  There are none of those hard blue cobalt colors that the Staffordshire Pottery company seemed to adore, and, looking at countless Staffordshire pieces on the web, I have not found anything similar to her. I think she is likely to be of German origin. The glazing shows a number of imperfections, some blow-holes, and some 'black' spots due to coal dust whilst firing.  Glazing had not yet been perfected and these characteristics were normal in early pieces.

She stands a good 19.5 cm high and weighs 290 grams, with a width of 5.5 cm.  All in all, she is an extremely interesting piece.
Please note, I am NOT a qualified archaeologist/antiquarian and the description I have given is based on research of the subject.

This is a genuine antique. The classification of an 'antique' is that it should be 100 years old, OR MORE. There are many articles being offered as 'antiques' when, clearly, they are not.
