"Unfortunately it is not in the condition I expected for a number of reasons
- The clock body has not been simply 'refurbished' but apart from the back is a completely badly made rebuild.
- It has been so heavily varnished it looks awful.
- The bezel, although as you said has been repaired, but is the wrong size and covers up the normal 'Made in America etc' writing at the bottom of the face of an Ansonia.
- The brass ring around the centre of the face cuts through the Ansonia logo so has certainly been added.
- The pendulum is certainly not original."
Very nice old American (Probably Ansonia) Regulator Clock.
The case has been refurbished at some stage and the bezel shows signs of repair
I don't think the glass is original but the pendulum seems to be.
I do not have an original key for the Clock.
The Clock runs for a while and then stop so selling as
NOT WORKING
The Clock measures +/- 550 x 300 x 80
Please have a look at the pictures and ask questions should you want to know more
I try to describe it as I see it
