Antique German Hanau Sterling Silver Ornate Box
This beautiful sterling silver hinged box is embossed all around with musical scenes. The box is hallmarked for Chester 1902 and stamped with the silver import mark F and B.M (Berthold Muller). They were an import firm, who distributed Hanau silver in the U.K. between the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. Overall condition is very good, with 2 tiny pin holes in the lid. It measures 6cm in length, 4.5cm in width, 2.5cm in depth and weighs 55.7g.
