Antique Silver Double-Heart 'Mizpah' Brooch (1914)
This fabulous, antique, English hallmarked silver 'Mizpah' brooch with rose gold petals, from the early 1900's, is beautifully made with lovely, raised detail and was manufactured in Birmingham in 1914 by silversmiths 'Pearce & Thompson' (P&T). It's in the shape of two joined hearts, one has rose-gold decorated ivy leaves with a knot in-between and the other has the word 'MIZAPH' in relief and engraved around it, is the verse 'The Lord watch between me and thee, when we are absent, one from another'. This collectable brooch is in excellent condition with a secure pin and measures 3,5cm x 2cm.
