Roasted marrow bones were a popular snack in England from the 17thC until the Victorian period. In the early 18thC long instruments were devised to facilitate the removal of the marrow. It was a great delicacy & highly nuritious.the two ends are channeled at different widths and made the removal of the marrow for consumption much easier.
They are collectors pieces today and sell for considerable sums.
I have started this lovely rare scoop at a low offer.Have fun and use it at your dinner table if you dare
