Beautiful Antique Silver Engraved Plated Biscuit Barrel

with beautifully engraved Romanesque or Greco (?) men and horse figures on 3 lion paw feet & an empty cartouche on either side which could be engraved.

It stands approx 16cm, tall; the top opening is 13cm and the base is 16.5cm

it is stamped with the Maker's initials 'HB' and number '257'

Good Antique Condition. Light wear to the plating. Lid does not fully close
