 SILVER PLATED OVER BRASS, ANTIQUE, ART NOUVEAU CHATELAINE NOTE BOOK COVER AND A PROPELLING PENCIL OR USED AS A DANCE CARD COVER.... WORN AS A PENDANT THIS ITEM IS SURE TO TURN A FEW HEADS !!!! THE COVER HAS BEEN RESILVERED BUT YOU CAN JUST SEE THE GLIMMER OF BRASS ON THE RAISED SECTIONS OF THE DESIGN. THERE IS A PROPELLING PENCIL THAT HOLDS THE COVER CLOSED, I DONT KNOW WHETHER THE PENCIL WORKS BUT IT DOES TURN. THE SPRING HINGE IS WORKING PERFECTLY. THE OVERALL CONDITION IS GOOD WITH A COUPLE OF TINY "DINGS"  CLOSED LENGTH 7.2cm, WIDTH 4.2cm.
