Antique Silver-Plated Table Lamp 

This lovely, antique, silver-plated 'telescopic' (adjustable height), table lamp with shade, started its life out as a very well made 'Sheffield Plate' on copper candlestick from the late 1800's, early 1900's. I'm not sure when the conversion occurred, but it is now a very attractive working table lamp, where the 'telescopic' column can be adjusted (extended or shortened), to the height required. It has a round decorative base with green felt underneath and other than some wear to the silver plating in places where the copper is showing (often referred to as bleeding), it's in excellent condition. The lamp base stands 21,5cm and can be extended to 30cm in height, with a base diameter of 12cm. The shade measures 23cm, by 25cm at its widest, and together they weigh 970g.
