A BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE COPPER LIDDED TEAPOT WITH BAKELIGHT HANDLE.
IT FEATURES A STRIKING SNAKESKIN LIKE PATTERN ALL OVER.
WHY ANTIQUE? IT WAS PREVIOUSLY OWNED BY THE PARENTS OF AN 80 YEAR OLD LADY FROM GERMAN ORIGEN. HER LETTER IN GERMAN IS ATTACHED WITH THE TRANSLATION UNDERNEATH.
Dieser Tee oder Wasserkessel gehorte meinen Eltern als sie noch in Trevenna Sunnyside in Kort Str wohnten. (This tea kettle belonged to my parents when they lived in Trevenna Sunnyside in Kort Str.)

Unter dem kessel auf einer kleiner platte stand (under the kettle was a small plate)
Der spiritus behabtey inn die flussigkeit in erwarmen (the spirit kept the liquid warm)
Was von dem stander geworden ist wisste ich leider nicht (Unfortunately, I didn't know what became of the stand)

CONDITION: SOME BURN MARKS ON BOTTOM. SOME MINOR PATINA SPOTS. BAKELIGHT FINIAL HAS A CRACK AND SITS A BIT LOOSE. AS INFORMED BY PREVIOUS OWNER THERE WAS A STAND THAT IS MISSING. OVERALL STILL IN GOOD CONDITION.
