ANTIQUE SOLID BRASS PORTHOLE - COMPLETE

Reliance - England

Great condition

This old Reliance porthole, most likely from England, is solid brass and a heavy piece, in great condition with loads of character.

The serial number and maker's marks are visible on the hinge, as well as a number "10", possibly referring to the size.

The porthole is complete, with both the base and cover, as well as the glass and original fasteners. It is not known whether or not the glass is the original one.

It has a base diameter of about 39cm and the cover measures 30cm across.

Total weight is about 12kg.

A great display piece for any maritime collector or decor for a nautical themed room!
