Antique Stanley Level & Rule Co. No. 45 combination plane with cutters in original box. This plane dates to the late 1800s. It has floral motifs along the main body and sliding adjustable skate, and the knob is on the fence. It is nickel plated and has a rosewood handle and knob. The plane appears to be complete with main body, sliding section, left fence, long and short arms and other parts. It has 11 cutters in a slide in case as well as 5 others which I am not sure were part of the original set. The plane comes in its original box with sliding lid. The skate is stamped "STANLEY RULE & LEVEL CO. PAT. MCH. 11. 84. JAN. 22. 95.". The plane is in very good condition for its age - only small fault I can find is that the knob fits a bit loosely. Great buy for the carpenter.
