Antique Sterling Silver 'Apostle' Sugar Tongs (1911)
These lovely, solid silver, sugar cube tongs, from the early 1900's, were made in Sheffield, England in 1911, by silversmiths 'Atkin Brothers' (H.A) (Harry Atkin). They feature an apostle in relief above a barley twist stem on each side. They are fine quality tongs, with a nice weight, are in excellent condition and could also be used for serving olives. The tongs measure 10,5cm in length, and weigh 20,5g.
