Antique Sterling Silver Sovereign Case (1912)
This fine quality, English hallmarked, antique silver sovereign case has a lovely engine turned decoration on both sides with a central round blank cartouche on the front. The case has a sprung lid with a push button opening mechanism and is fitted with a swivel suspension ring. It was made in Birmingham in 1912 by silversmiths 'Aaron Lufkin Dennison' (A.L.D) and other than a tiny dent on the case it's in excellent condition and functions perfectly. It measures 34mm in diameter (50mm with loop), and weighs 23,8g.
