This is a antique surgical oven or bacteriological incubator. Could also be a vacuum oven. From the research I'e done this was make by a company called Gallenkamp. Founded in the 1800s by a German, Adolph Gallenkamp. First trades in 1900 in London. The company was bought out and now trades as Weiss Technik UK. 

This piece could date back to between 1920-1940.

Its in great condition and has nice copper patina and original porcelain handle. The glass on the front door is missing but can easily be replaced.
