Business Cards or trade cards have been around for some 400 years cards like these above were often used in the 1800s and changed over to colour ones later in the 1900s

The Groote company opened their factory in Wezaan in the 1840s

The cards are on the whole mostly in a good condition bar for the backs yellowing which would be normal after so many years
