Antique BrassTurkish Coffee Grinder

This is a rare coffee grinder  made of brass. It is in the shape of a 30 cm high cylinder that is held in the hand and used to grind coffee beans. The grinding arm can be removed and stored under the lid. The lid of such a hand mill is first removed and the beans placed inside, the mechanism is then rotated and the ground coffee collects in the lower part. Haci Artin was probably the most famous manufacturer of these mills.

This mill has the Haci Artin makers name on the front. It is in good condition bar for a few dents.
