Probably dating back to at least the1950's, this item would likely have been used in a state department office.
Made in USA by Speed Products Co. Long Island, New York.
Would look great on a large old writing desk with appropriately themed stationary items!
It is in fairly good condition as per the images, but could do with a good cleaning.
There is some loss of paint in spots and the plastic knob has broken edges.
Tested and still stapling perfectly.

The stapler measures 21cm x 5cm and has a height of 9.5cm.
