RARE ANTIQUE PEWTER BEER TANKARD - 1 Pint - Manufactured by JAMES YATES 1810-1860

STURDY and in PERFECT condition yet MORE than 150 years old, this Collectable Beer Tankard has a Beautiful Victorian Handle and a Gorgeous Tulip Shape.   It is the IDEAL Decorative item for a Bar as well as ANY other Living Room in the Modern Home. It displays Elegance with its Outstanding Design and Charm in its Visual Impact on anyone who has the Pleasure of viewing it for the first time. It does tend to create a sense of wonder and awe when one considers its age and then admires its PERFECT condition

Stamped on the side next to the handle top is ----    "JAMES YATES" and just below this should be stamped "PINT" but unfortunately this has faded through age

The Tankard has normal age related wear but is without Rust, dents or damages of ANY kind

Fun Facts :  It is remarkable to think when Holding this Tankard ..... that at the time it was manufactured Napoleon was Defeated in Russia, The American War of Liberation Began, The Cape of Good Hope Became a British Colony, Napoleon was Defeated by the British Fleet at Waterloo.......and these are only a FEW of the major events of that era which shaped the future of the World as we know it today........and this Beautiful Tankard.....was already manufactured !!  WOW!!
