A bright-cut engraved fifteen carat gold brooch, claw-set with an Old European
Rose cut blue sapphire and eight blue-grey seed pearls, bright steel pin and C-clasp.
MARKS:
Indistinct 15.625, Birmingham Anchor and date letter w for 1896-1897 (see close-up image).
CONDITION:
Fine scratches, some tarnishing and one missing rim ball.
DIMENSIONS:
Approximately 4.5cm length X 1.7cm width at widest point.
NETT WEIGHT:
2.3 grams.
