This is an authentic Victorian-era Writing Slope, also known as a lap desk, dating to around 1870, likely of Scottish or British origin. These portable writing boxes were essential travel companions for letter writing and document storage during the 19th century.

Crafted from rich mahogany wood, this piece shows a classic sloped design
