Antique Ebony Trinket Set. This extremely slow growing hardwood was imported from British India and was a popular vanity set material with both men and women from around the turn of the century to the mid 1920s, when the timber became too rare and expensive to be economically viable. These ebony relics of the period have been highly prized ever since.
