Decorative Antique 'W.M.F' Bottle Stopper 

This good quality, lovely, silver-plated bottle stopper or cork holder from the early 1900's, featuring a lady carrying a book under one arm, was made in Germany by the well-known 'WMF' factory. The stopper is made of a heavy silver-plated metal with amazing detail and would have originally had a cork (which can be replaced). It stands 8,3cm high, measures 3,1cm at its widest and weighs 55,5g. The cork holder is in excellent condition and is stamped near the base with the early 'ostrich' mark.
