Continental 8 Calculator age around 1937 (Heavy cast-iron machine)

This is a continental 8 calculator, it hasn’t been tested for functions, but it is a nice collector’s item.

Manufacturer around 1916 Wanderer Werke in Chemnitz with the Continental-Addier machine 
After 1926 the console machine was designed and then built in large lots from 1928 onward. 

Calculators were the main machines and devices in well-run offices next to typewriters and copiers. Please note that we are not experts and can only describe the item best we can.
