On Offer an Antique Water-well BUCKET with stand estimated to be over a 100 years old, complete and in GREAT CONDITION. What a unique find!! It is made from Oak and metal and stems from an era where water was still to be collected from a water-well. From our research it would seem that the unique shape of the bucket would make the bucket tip over and fill up with water after it was lowered into the well and touched the water surface at the bottom of the water-well. After it filled, it could be hoisted out of the well and placed on the stand to secure the bucket with easy access to the water in it. The item is in exceptionally good condition for its age.
