ANTIQUE BABY'S HIGHCHAIR
This was painted white when I bought it more than 12 years ago and I began restoring it then and just never completed the job, so whoever buys this will need to put it back together again. I would suggest a final fine sanding and an oiling. I have no idea what sort of wood it is.
It is one of those 2 part high chairs - folds down to form a table and chair for the little one to play and draw at when a bit older. Has wheels for easy rollaway. Even has an opening for a potty to be inserted into if desired. This opening is closed now but can be utilised.
Condition - excellent for it's age. Just needs to be finished off. I have done the hard work, lol. There are a few 'stains' which I'm sure a further sanding will remove and once oiled will just look even more authentic. There is a fine crack across the play table when in the folded down position - this can be filled with wood filler and sanded down before oiling. All the parts are there, even the original screws which I saved to keep it authentic. Please view all pics because they form part of the description. Please understand it is NOT assembled, I balanced it together to take the pics.
