Antique Wooden 'Lawn Bowls' Ball (Jaques & Son)

This fabulous, very early, wooden lawn bowls ball was made in London, England, probably around the 1920/30's by makers 'JACUES& SON'. It has two round ivory or bone inserts, one on each side, with one having a lovely engraved or carved pattern and other than normal wear you see on a bowls ball, it's in great condition. The following wording is impressed around one side of the ball 'JAQUES & SON, LONDON, BRITISH BOWLING ASSOCIATION,1500, SET 4, BIAS No.3, 5IN, PR6'. It has a diameter of 11,5cm x 10,5cm and weighs1,3kg.
