An assembled set of antique wooden plow and moulding planes.  Bought from Sotheby's on auction in 1994 and have never been used since.  There are 14 planes as well as a set of blades.

The markings on the different planes are:

1.  3/4 Atkinson & Sons, Sheffield works, Birmingham. Benefactum. A logo in the shape of a  horseshoe - there is no blade in this plane.

2.  1/8 Atkinson & Sons, Sheffield Works, Birmingham.  Benefactum.

3.  3  D Malloch & Son, Perth. Trademark.

4.  3  D Malloch & Son, Perth. Trademark.

5.  Robelaw 1/4 INCH.  Atkinson & Sons, Sheffield Works, Birmingham, Benefactum.  Horshoe shaped logo.

6.  3/16 Atkinson & Sons, Sheffield Works, Birmingham - this plane has no blade.

7.  V & R Blakemore - featuring a logo in the shape of a goats' head.  (This is the plow plane).

8.  Atkinson & Sons, Sheffield Works, Birmingham.

9.  W Greenslade, Bristol.  3/4.

10.  8 INCH John Birch & Co Warranted.

11.  Atkinson & Sons, Sheffield Works, Birmingham.  There is also script writing on the edge: looks like 1 1/2 S Raffin Rfn?

12.  J Newbigin 58.

13.  Unmarked.
