There are over 9600 Topographical Maps dating from the 1930's that cover the whole country.
While some grid maps were produced as early as the 1930s, others did not begin production until the 1960s.
The maps accurately depict the location of natural and man-made features by means of symbols and colour, and elevation by means of spot heights and contours (20 m interval).
