APE With Mrs P

The purpose of IEB Advanced Programme English (APE) is to provide learners who have significant enthusiasm for English with the opportunity to increase their knowledge, skills, values and attitudes associated with English. The study of Advanced Programme English is intended to provide learners with the opportunity to engage with challenging poetry, texts and films which will enable them to respond to literature in its broadest context. It is a way of extending top English candidates and providing them with the opportunity to display greater knowledge and depth of insight than is required for English Home Language.’
