This auction is for the APEX Schleifsteine in the pictures. Since I am not at that familiar with sharpening and honing stones, I'll do the best I can with the description.
No reserve, fair starting price for this stone. This is an auction and has no Buy-it-now option.
Although this stone is sitting in an APEX box, I can't say for sure. Please also refer to the other coarse APEX stone I've listed. Seems flattish but should rather be lapped before use, I would advise. About medium grit to me. Please study the pictures. Feel free to perform additional cleaning and lapping, should you require that. It appears to be in good condition apart from the tattered lid (only lid supplied). Looks as if the previous user used oil, although it's not overly stained or clogged. Lots of life left in it. Stone dimensions are about 145x50x18mm. Apologies for my vague description but the stone seems quite useable.
Unfortunately no pick-up of items. I will combine shipments, if requested (auctions within a reasonable period), but this may cost more depending on weight.
Shipping will be R40 in South Africa. All items will be properly packed. I am not responsible for any damages by the post office that happens during transit.
