Apocalypse Culture - Parfrey, Adam

Apocalypse Culture is a controversial anthology edited by Adam Parfrey that explores the fringes of modern society through a collection of essays, interviews, manifestos, and historical documents. Rather than promoting a single viewpoint, the book assembles material from an extraordinarily diverse and often disturbing range of contributors, examining topics such as extremist political movements, cults, conspiracy theories, occult beliefs, serial killers, radical environmentalism, fringe science, body modification, censorship, and other forms of transgressive culture. Parfrey's aim is to document ideas and subcultures that exist outside mainstream discourse, presenting them as evidence of the darker currents running beneath contemporary society.
