Buying a previous-generation Pro model like this is the smart move, you get the same camera system and Super Retina display for a fraction of the new price, and this one has already had a couple of key parts freshened up for you.
The honest bit first. There are minor shadow spots on the display, and this unit has had its screen, battery and camera replaced. None of that stops it working properly, it's simply why the price is where it is.
Screen: No visible scratches. Fitted with a replacement screen that performs just as well as the original. You may briefly see a part-replacement notification on the lock screen, this disappears after a few days and moves to the Settings app. There are minor shadow spots visible on the display.
Casing: Minimal scuffs.
Battery: Fitted with a brand-new battery, currently reading 100% health. A similar replacement-part notification may briefly appear and will move to Settings within a few days.
Functions: The camera has been replaced and has been tested along with the rest of the device's system functions, all confirmed working.
Overall: Works well day to day, fully functional apart from the minor shadow spots noted on the display.
Warranty: Covered for 12 full months against faults, not accidental damage. If it stops working as it should, we sort it out.
