Buying refurbished is the smart move here, you get a proper Apple flagship for a lot less than new, and any quirks are spelled out upfront so there's no guesswork.
The honest bit first. Face ID does not work on this unit, everything else has been tested and works as it should. The casing shows a few light markings and nicks from previous use, and both the screen and the TrueDepth camera have been replaced.
Screen: Fitted with a replacement screen (genuine Apple part) that shows almost no signs of previous use, in fantastic condition. You may briefly see a part-replacement notice on the lock screen, this clears on its own after a few days and moves into the Settings app.
Casing: A few light markings and nicks are visible on close inspection, otherwise in great shape.
Battery: Health is at 100%.
Functions: Face ID is not working. All other system functions have been tested and are working correctly, including a brand-new TrueDepth camera fitted to the device that performs just as well as the original. A similar notice about this replacement part will also clear from the lock screen after a few days.
Overall: A well looked after iPhone 14 Pro that works well day to day, with the one exception that Face ID is not active.
Warranty: Covered for 12 full months against faults, not accidental damage. If it stops working as it should, we sort it out.
