The honest bit first. This iPhone 14 Pro Max has some genuine, clearly disclosed wear: faint scratches on the screen, a few minor nicks and scratches around the frame, and a few small spots visible on the rear camera lens. The screen has also been replaced. None of this is hidden, it's exactly why this one is priced the way it is.
Screen: Faint scratches are visible on close inspection but do not affect everyday use. This unit has been fitted with a genuine Apple replacement screen. You may see Apple's standard replacement notification appear on the lock screen for a few days, it then archives itself under Settings on its own, this is expected and normal for a replaced part. The replacement screen is very slightly thicker than a standard original panel, but it works perfectly.
Casing: A few minor nicks and scratches are visible, mainly around the frame, consistent with normal use. The Taptic Engine button is gold in colour from a prior service, this is purely cosmetic and does not affect function.
Battery: Health is at 81%, so expect noticeably shorter time between charges than a new device.
Functions: This device has undergone testing of its core system functions, which all work as expected. The one thing to flag is a few small spots visible on the rear camera lens, which may show up in some photos.
