History: I am selling this Macbook Air because I recently spilt coffee on it. I switched the laptop off straight away and left it for 3 weeks before trying to turn it back on. I bought another Macbook during those three weeks and when turing it back on I found that It works perfectly, I even reset the macbook it its original state, however unfortunately the backlight seems to be fused. If you plug an a exterior monitor in, you are able to use the laptop as normal. Every single other function works perfectly (I have had it tested). The screen even works perfectly but you can hardly see anything due to the backlight being off.
To fix the backlight it is extremely cheap, however a repairman at an Iquick store told me there is a risk with trying to fix a liquid damaged electronics as they become more sensitive to touch and he would not be liable if it broke completely when trying to fix it.
I paid about R14200.00 for it brand new.
Please feel free to ask any other question and would be happy to answer.
